Our vision at Cornerstone is to point people to God and help Christians no matter where they are spiritually get plugged in and mature as believers. We do this by offering a small group setting to help you develop relationally with others and the chance to grow into a spiritually mature Christ-like believer. We have an engaging time of Worship featuring a blended style that will bless the heart of God. We have expositional preaching of the Word of God that is designed to get to the heart of God's will for you.
Cornerstone is a family-integrated church. We believe in keeping the family together as we worship the Lord, encouraging our children to learn, by example, what it means to worship together, with their parents and under the authority of their father.
We believe that the father is the head of the home. The church is to equip, undergird, and assist him, but not replace him, in the teaching & growing of his family in the Lord. As a church, we desire to promote family unity and a turning of the hearts of the fathers and children towards one another to the glory of the Lord.
The body of Christ is a beautiful variation of so many different people, who are each a reflection of His love and mercy. We desire to minister with and encourage those in all walks of life…children, youth, single, married, families, widows, and senior saints.
Our church is a warm and loving church, and we want you to feel comfortable and at liberty to call on us for anything you need. If you do not have a church home, we would love for you to visit and worship God with us.
Date and Time: May 13th beginning at 6 p.m. we will have a fellowship meal. Following at 7 p.m. we will meet and have special guest speaker from "We Are Free" ministries Angelyn McMurray.
We Are Free
In response to the call of Micah 6:8, We Are FREE strives to do justice, love mercy and walk humbly with our God by advocating and speaking on behalf of the victims of human trafficking.
Angelyn was raised in what most would consider an average middle-class suburban household. Her upbringing, which was rooted in faith, family and education laid the foundation for a successful life. She attended Rutgers University receiving an undergraduate degree in Political Science and remained at Rutgers for Law School. While working to lay the foundation for a successful career in the law, Angelyn’s eyes were opened to the evil of human trafficking, its reality and the extent to which it not only exists but thrives both internationally and in the United States.
Faced with this knowledge and in conjunction with her love of both justice and mercy, she founded We Are FREE to raise awareness and provide much needed care to survivors of human trafficking.
In addition to her work, Angelyn is happily married and has three children.
